The beginning is busy!

It was a busy and great first week of school and we are already into the second week! Here are a few highlights from the first week!

We worked on creating a bar/pictograph using faces we decorated. Once a week, the children will have to answer a question and build a graph. The children are already developing great math vocabulary as we explore the graphs!

We also learned a bit about each other through creating these paw prints that are on display in our room! We made connections through favorite colors, foods, and activities.

After reading, Leo the Late Bloomer, about a lion that learns a bit slower than his peers, we learned that everyone has different strengths and weaknesses! The kids shared what they are good at and what they wish they were better at! I wish I had better ninja skills too! 🙂
