A busy week!

We have had a busy week! We have been working on our “not” contractions. To show what we know, we made a contraction caterpillar. The children have been pointing out contractions in their reading or words that can become contractions! It is great to see them noticing words every where!

We have also been busy with learning about measurement. On Wednesday, we measured out 6 pieces of paper to different sizes. When we put them in size order, the children noticed they look like a tree! Our “Measuring Trees” are decorating our classroom for the holidays!

We are ending the week with our “Long Ago and Today” projects. The girls did a great job kicking it off! We are learning so much and everyone seemed to have fun researching their time period!
